The Fox Mercantile is a unique, private, and intimate celebration venue created to house life's special, most joyful moments. Based just off the island of Anna Maria in historic Cortez Village, FL, we're home of the ‘La Sal’ cocktail bar, our signature ‘family feast’ seating table, and our hand-picked, specialized tabletop and furniture rentals.

From $33,082.50Our all-inclusive experience extended to the shoreline. Exchange vows along the coast before returning to The Fox for a seamless celebration — including full ceremony coordination, beach chair rentals, pedestal florals, county beach permitting, and a trolley to bring guests to your reception.
Timeless Chapel
From $32,000Our all-inclusive experience extended to a classic, romantic chapel. Exchange vows in a timeless setting before returning to The Fox — including full ceremony coordination, aisle and pedestal florals, chapel logistics, and a trolley to bring guests to your reception.
Starting prices are based on a 50-guest count. Final pricing varies with exact guest count, vendor selection, food & bar choices, and wedding date. Gratuity is not included. A deposit must be placed before planning can begin.

Answers To Your Questions
What is the cost to rent the space?
Our venue rental fees range from $2,750 to $7,650+ depending on the day of the week and coordination from our team. Our space can be all inclusive of staffing, seating, and rentals. There is a 25% gratuity + service fee that will be added to your final invoice. Preferred vendors list MUST be used unless otherwise approved by venue. Once final guest count is set, additional guests will be charged at minimum $80 pp.
What is the maximum occupancy?
We can accommodate events for up to 100 guests.
Do you have preferred vendors?
We have an incredible list of preferred, local vendors that we are confident will serve you well — some even offer our guests a 10% discount on services! We require our vendors to be used unless otherwise approved. Outside vendors must be vetted by our event team & are subject to a “non-preferred vendor” fee for additional support needed.
How long do I have the space for?
We allow bookings after 4:00 pm [ based on guest count and availability ] Monday – Saturday and anytime on Sunday. We have a minimum of 3 hour rental, and guests must depart no later than 10 pm due to local community guidelines. Rentals over the agreed upon time will pay per hour.
What does staffing for my event look like?
We would love to provide you with a venue coordinator and service staff for any needs. Pricing for staff is dependent on how involved you would like our team. Our event specialist can coordinate & plan everything for you, or you can do it yourself! We aim to be the cherry on top to your perfect & memory making event! Additional staffing is required for parties of 30+ and will be additional cost.
What is your inclement weather policy?
The Fox Mercantile hosts weddings rain or shine, embracing Florida's beautiful (and sometimes unpredictable) tropical climate. In the event of inclement weather, we recommend a local tent rental company as plan B. Final decision to have a tent will be made 24–48 hours in advance with a relocation fee needed for additional staff assistance. Standard Florida weather does not qualify for refunds, rescheduling, or credits; we strongly recommend securing event insurance for protection against extreme conditions.
How do I lock in my date?
Your date is held once we receive your 30% down non-refundable deposit for the venue and you sign our contract, then you are locked in to celebrate with us! Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your event date. Cash, checks, or credit card is acceptable (3% card fee may apply). Payment plans can be set up at request of guest — inquire for more info.
