Shipping Policy

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays). You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order has shipped.

International Shipping

We ship to most countries worldwide. International shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination. Typical international delivery takes 7–14 business days. Please note:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Delivery times may vary due to customs delays beyond our control.
  • We are not responsible for packages held in customs.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, please first check with neighbors and building management. If you still can't locate it, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date and we'll work with the carrier to resolve it.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we make it easy to return or exchange.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return for a full refund to your original payment method.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
  • Original packaging must be included where applicable.
  • Tags must remain attached on clothing and accessories.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Final sale items (clearly marked at purchase)
  • Opened or used candles, pantry items, and personal care products
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital products or gift cards

How to Start a Return

Email us at hello@thefoxmercantile.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll reply within 1 business day with a prepaid return label and instructions.

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 days to appear on your statement.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, initiate a return and place a new order for the replacement. If you'd prefer us to handle the exchange directly, contact us and we'll coordinate everything for you. Same-price exchanges ship free.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you — no return required.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly to ensure fast shipping. If you need to make a change or cancel, please contact us immediately at hello@thefoxmercantile.com. We cannot guarantee changes to orders that have already been fulfilled.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may return it once received under our standard return policy.

Address Corrections

If you notice an error in your shipping address, contact us immediately. If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, we will reship it but may charge an additional shipping fee.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard domestic shipping takes 3–5 business days after processing. Expedited shipping (1–2 business days) is available at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship to most countries worldwide. International shipping typically takes 7–14 business days, though delays can occur due to customs. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping charges.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition with packaging. To start a return, contact us at hello@thefoxmercantile.com with your order number.

Can I exchange an item?

Absolutely. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll set up an exchange. If the item you want is the same price, there's no cost difference. If it's higher, we'll charge the difference; if lower, we'll refund the balance.

What items can't be returned?

Final sale items (marked as such at time of purchase), perishable goods (candles that have been burned, opened pantry items), and personalized or custom-made items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're so sorry to hear that. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer — at no cost to you.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly! If you need to make a change, contact us immediately at hello@thefoxmercantile.com. We'll do our best to catch it before it ships. Once an order has shipped, we're unable to modify it, but our return policy always has you covered.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every order from The Fox Mercantile is already packaged beautifully — we take pride in the unboxing experience. For a personal touch, add a handwritten gift note at checkout using the order notes field and we'll include it at no charge.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest level of security certification available. We never store your full card details.

Do you have a physical store?

Yes! Come visit us at 12304 Cortez Rd W, Bradenton, FL 34210. We're open Monday–Saturday 8am–4pm. We are closed on Sundays. We also host regular in-store events — check our Events page for what's coming up.

Are your products ethically sourced?

This is really important to us. We partner with small makers, independent designers, and family-run brands who share our commitment to quality and fair practices. Many of our products are handmade or small-batch. We ask questions, read labels, and visit studios before adding anything to our shop.
